Bichectomy

Bichectomy consists of the removal of the Bichat bags. Bicha bags are two encapsulated fat bags located in the cheek region, one on the right side and the other on the left. In some cases we can treat asymmetry with its resection.

It is practiced in order to refine the cheeks and accentuate the cheekbones, especially in people with rounded or oval faces. In many cases it is combined with liposuction of the cervical region. This procedure is done under local anesthesia and sedation. The incision is made through the interior of the oral cavity (inside the mouth) so that there is no visible scar with an incision of 1 to 2 cm. There is no need to withdraw points.

The results will be visible until the 6th month.

Post Operative Care

It is an outpatient process, the recovery time is the next day.
